Dump Trucks

Dump Trucks Biography
Source(google.com.pk)
This is a complete dump truck training manual written by a dump truck operator and aimed at those who have never been near a mine site but wish to make the transition into a new career. This manual covers safety aspects, how to conduct a full prestart inspection of a dump truck (with lots of photos so you know what you are looking at) and all the hauling aspects to get under a dig unit and safely and productively tip your load off. There is a combination of real photo’s and scale replica photo’s, so that you can fully understand every situation and example explained. A must read for anyone before they invest in $3,000+ in a dump truck course.

For the past 6 years I have been working in both gold and iron ore mine sites across two states. My jobs have included working as a blast crew labourer, crusher operator, process technician, gold pourer, lab technician and a mobile plant operator with front end loaders, graders, water carts and most of all Dump Trucks. I acknowledge that not everyone is suitable to work away or work in the harsh conditions, and even though I can’t fully describe this both fascinating and frustrating environment, I wanted to share the information that everyone seems wants to know (“how do I get a job?” and “how do I operate a dump truck?”).

We have a couple of sayings in mining "You gotta want it" and "Living the dream". There are opportunities out there so never give up. Mining is hard but the rewards are worth it. Good luck.
