The 550 delivers an exceptional power-to-weight ratio making this unit very fuel efficient and economical to run. Its versatility and ability to load and carry over rough terrain is where this machine really shines.
The 550 AWS model is powered by a 47-horsepower Tier 4i diesel engine. The powerful engine allows the unit to offer a high drive force for digging and moving materials efficiently. This also sets the stage for the addition of an optional high performance high flow which allows for increased hydraulic horsepower to run larger attachments such as snow blowers, brooms and trenchers. A faster travel speed option is also available providing up to 19.5 mph.
Wacker Neuson’s newest addition to its growing wheel loader line is available with canopy or cab. Both versions offer a spacious and functional layout designed for operator comfort. The cab model provides a roomy work area with heat and air conditioning for added operator comfort. Hydraulically operated universal skid steer style quick hitch allows for efficient changing from one accessory to another without leaving the operator's station. The standard skid steer plate allows users the convenience of using their skid steer attachments.
Wacker Neuson’s 550 wheel loader is designed with counterweights located far behind the rear axle for higher payloads and more stability. The 550 offers a straight tipping load of 4365 pounds with a maximum bucket pin height of 10 feet.
